WordPress London Meetup – June 2014

June WordPress Meetup at a new venue near Old Street in London! Come join us for a few presentations, lots of chatting about WordPress and a bit of fun. We’ll head to a pub afterwards too if you’re interested.

Dan Lester

Dan is an internet entrepreneur based in Cambridge, UK.

During his career in software and business, he has:

  • Co-founded, and acted as CTO and COO, for both an agency and a venture-backed startup business.
  • Worked for small and large companies (including Citi) developing desktop and networked applications.
  • Built independent games and web projects.
Manuel Kanah

Manuel is a software engineer and full-stack developer. He has used WordPress since 2009 and thinks it is a real amazing tool to create websites!

Graham Armfield

Graham is a Web Accessibility Consultant for his own company Coolfields Consulting. He work with organisations to help them improve the accessibility of their websites – testing the websites for accessibility, and advising the designers and developers on how to fix issues found. He has also written detailed training courses on accessibility for developers which he presents on a regular basis.

He’s also a WordPress developer, and I’ve built many accessible WordPress websites for clients.

Mike Pead

Mike runs Primary Image, based in Westcliff-on-Sea in Essex, and designs, supports, and hosts WordPress websites for clients.  Primary Image specialises in the transport sector, with Mike creating websites for Transport for London, National Express, and Network Rail, amongst many others.

He thrives on business development and project management, as well as having a passion for productivity & marketing.  He’s the founder of WP&UP, a charity supporting the WordPress community’s mental, physical, business and code health.   You’ll also find him organising WordPress focused events including #wpldn#wpEssex & #wpSuffolk.
