WordPress London Meetup – Oct. 2018

25th October 2018

18:30

Have you ever considered the impact your website has on the environment? Tom will be looking at the benefits of a greener web. And Chris will be talking about going beyond just eCommerce with WooCommerce.

Speakers

Tom Greenwood

Tom Greenwood is a sustainability nut, designer and co-founder of the WordPress agency Wholegrain Digital.

He believes that design, technology and business can and should be used to create a better world that is truly sustainable. He is critically aware of the need to seek out the sweet spot between idealism and cold hard reality in order to drive forward progress.

When he needs to switch off, he’ll be found swimming in the sea or running around the woods with no shoes on.

Chris Brosnan

Chris is a self-taught developer who is currently Senior Full Stack Developer at Ayre Media, a blockchain/cryptocurrency startup based in London. Chris has a particular interest in PHP and WordPress, and has shared his passion for both in different industries including the charity sector, travel, financial software and property. When not coding, Chris enjoys his passion for film, comic books, board games and watching sports. He is also a part-time postgrad student at Birkbeck College.
