We’ll be looking at delivering lighting fast content updates to your site users, as Phil takes us through a how and why Liveblog has received AMP support. And Dan will be opening a discussion about the impact of freelancing/lone working on our mental health.

Dan Maby

Dan is a director at Blue 37 – a WordPress specialist agency. He’s also the founder & trustee of WP&UP – a charity that supports & promotes positive mental health within the WordPress community.

You’ll find him organising WordCamps and Meetups throughout the UK. He thrives on business development and project management, as well as having a passion for seeing success within others.

Philip John

Phil is a long-time WordPress developer, having worked as a freelancer, for agencies, local government and most recently WordPress.com VIP where he supports some of the most high-profile, high-traffic sites on the web. He has been a caretaker of the Liveblog plugin and has lead several releases building out impressive new features and functionality.

Diane loves developing with WordPress and being part of the amazing, inclusive and friendly WordPress community.

Gary Jones

Gary Jones is a UK-based WordPress Engineer, educator, code consultant, and proud father of twins. Driven by a passion for excellence, he creates elegant WordPress plugins and theme solutions for clients, and provides services, including code audits, for other designers and developers. He has worked on projects for SiteGround, Yoast, StudioPress, Web Savvy Marketing, Daniels Trading, Rolls-Royce and many smaller design and development agencies and individuals.

Gary is a key contributor to the Genesis Framework and has contributed to most major branches of WordPress Core since 3.3. He has contributed to many open source projects in the community, and is a co-host on the UK Genesis podcast.

A former teacher in schools and prisons, Gary’s goal is to educate WordPress professionals on how they can improve their code. His motto is knowledge is power.
